By training as a team, we are committed to increasing youth involvement in triathlon.  The focus of our team is to educate youth in health and fitness, help them create a healthy lifestyle, build camaraderie, have fun and grow as individuals, a team and as athletes.   The sport of triathlon is growing exponentially - especially in the youth community.   The Indianapolis area alone has 9 local youth races - and is beginning to spread to surrounding areas.  What kid doesn't like to swim, bike and run!

THREE PRACTICE LOCATIONS:

Lawrence North High School

• NOTE CHANGE:  THURSDAY  evenings @ 5:30 pm -6:30pm
• June 10th – August 4th
• Please plan to meet us at the pool on June 10th.   First practice will be informational for the parents.  Thank you.

HSE High School

• If you are planning on attending this practice, please call me first.  

We are having some issues with facilities.  The dates and times may change.

• Monday & Wednesday @ 8am-9:00am
• Practice starts Wednesday, June 2nd at 8:00 am!

The Monon Center

• Tuesdays @ 9am -10am
• June 1st - August 3rd
• We have exclusive use of the outdoor pool! Rides and runs will be held on the Monon

• Each practice will focus on the either the swim, bike, run and bricks (bike and run combination) .   Athletes will be taught about technique, pacing, sportsmanship, etiquette, mounting – dismounting of the bike, transitions and all the ins and outs of the sport.    
• Members should be comfortable in the water and should be able to swim, the distance noted below, on their own.  Please note that this will not be a swimming focused practice - instruction will focus on all 3 sports equally.  
  • 6 - 7 year olds : 100 yards
  • 8 - 10 year olds : 200 yards
  • 11 - 15 year olds: 400 yards

• $60 month (2 month practice schedule, June & July.  School starts early August)
