The Cycle Studio Classes/Training

Here's how it works:

  1. Register for a class under class schedule.  
  2. You will need to create an account and register as an UNPAID CLIENT.  
  3. Decide on a package and pay via check to I am Multisport or by cash when you ride. 

 Each class is limited to 8 riders.  We will track your personal inventory for you.  

Cycle Class Packages:

White Jersey Package - 4 Classes @ $120

Green Jersey Package - 8 Classes @ $225

Polka Dot Jersey Package - 12 Classes @$300

Yellow Jersey Package - 20 Classes @ $400

Additional Options:

Walk-In - $30

CLASS SCHEDULE


Class Descriptions

All classes will incorporate some endurance, power, speed, strength and skill sets. You will have a shorter, more intense workout with the 60 minutes vs. the 90 minute class. Each class is valued at the same price.

Functional Threshold Power Testing

This class will consist of a 10 minute warm up followed by a 20 minute time trial. This test is used to find your power zones. After the TT, you will do a short zone session focused on using your tested power zones. It is recommened that you test every 4-6 weeks.

Core+Ride

Class will begin with a short warm-up on the bike, followed by 20 minutes of a floor core session.  A stronger core leads to better performance and a core that is "warmed up" will lead to a better ride.  The ride will be 60 minutes.

Endurance/Base Training

Class will focus on building endurance with longer, less intense intervals. This is essential for long course and off-season training. Focus will be on managing your zones and learning how to control your heart rate. Majority of class will be spent in Zone 2, 3 and some of 4. There will be testing in the first class – which will be intense, but outside of that the focus will be on endurance.

Power/Strength/Speed

Class will focus on building power and strength through intense and quick intervals. There will be a lot of climbing, time trials and bursts. You will see your VO2 max. Plan to be in Zones 3, 4, 5 and higher. This type of training is also KEY to success for the next season. You do not need to do this more that 2 times a week. This type of training is hard to do on your own. Coupled with endurance training, you will see results. It helps having coached sessions to guide you through and keep you going.
